many things are not meant to be that way.

saw u walk on stage,
receiving that badge.
i wished u all the best from within,
just that i hope that this was not all but an act.
i can imagine you laughing it off two years ago.
or is it that when u enter a different environment, u'll change?
your hyperness
left me speechless,
everyone is saying that u changed.
for the better? or not?
i know one year isnt enough for you to leave it all behind,
i want to help you, but dont know how to do so.

i guess beneath that mask,
there lies umpteen of sleepless nights?
i still remember ur sms that day,
though sad, but at least i know u are being true to your feelings.

i'm stretching my arms wide,
but somehow, ur actions seemed to be telling me that its not needed.
that u are living very well, that u blend in so well now.
if so, tell me.
though different classes now,
i hope u still remember that u still have a friend who is there for you
whenever u need her.
all the best.

i wonder how long will people normally take to shed off their past.
one year? two years? or never?

i really want to help her.
but does she still need it?
